1. How long is my rental?

When you book with Silver Oaks Chateau, the space belongs exclusively to you and your guests for the duration of your rental on that day. For a Friday or Saturday at Silver Oaks Chateau, your rental fee includes a 14- hour time block. If you need more time, you may rent up to two additional hours for $250 per hour (earliest access time available being 8am). For our Sunday 10 hour rental, you may add up to two additional hours on the front end of your rental for $250 per hour (earliest access time available being 9am).

2. What is included in my rental price?
Use of Silver Oaks Chateau for the duration of your rental, all tables and chairs set up to your specifications (linens are provided through your caterer), and a venue coordinator to assist with your ceremony and reception.

3. How do I reserve a date with Silver Oaks?                                                                                                                         

We secure dates with a non-refundable deposit. Saturdays require a $3,000 deposit, Fridays require a $2,000 deposit, and Sundays require a $1,000 deposit. This deposit is applied to your rental fee.

4. How do I set up a tour?                                                                                                                                                     

We would love to host you for a tour! First, please visit our online calendar to see if your date is available. If it is, email info@silveroakschateau.com for pricing so we can ensure Silver Oaks is a good fit prior to your tour.

5. Why is pricing not posted on your website?                                                                                                                     

The rental price is determined by the month and day of your celebration, and the type of package you select. For example, a Saturday is September is priced differently than a Saturday in February.

6. Are any decorations prohibited?
We do not allow glitter, confetti, or real candles. However, we do allow flameless candles. We also ask that if you choose to hang anything in the space, you use command strips, or an alternative that will leave our walls undamaged. 

7. Can I bring in outside food or alcohol?
Prior to your event, outside food and drink is allowed. Once guests arrive, all food and beverages must be provided through your caterer.

8. What is the role of the venue coordinator?
Our events team will meet with you twice prior to your wedding day to discuss table set up, ceremony and reception timeline, and other details of your event as it relates to the venue. They are not responsible for decorating the venue, or booking your vendors. However, they are on-site for each event to help your ceremony and reception run smoothly.

9. What is your capacity?
We can host up to 280-seated guests in the Grand Hall.

10. Can we leave decorations and other items at your facility to pick up the next day?
The venue must be clear of all items by or before midnight the day of your rental. We want to make sure the space is beautiful and ready for the next event after yours. 

11. What about rehearsals?
If you would like to rehearse your wedding ceremony at Silver Oaks Chateau, a one-hour time slot is available to you on the Thursday before your wedding for a $150 fee. We have 4pm, 5pm and 6pm available for a rehearsal time slot, and timing is first come first served and not assigned.

12. When does my event need to end?                                                                                                                    

If you are utilizing the noon to midnight rental, we ask that your bar close by 11:00pm and music end by 11:15pm. This will provide enough time for a send-off and all décor and personal belongings to be out of the building by 12:00am.

13. Are there are additional charges to my rental?                                                                                                                 

At Silver Oaks Chateau we always want to be upfront about our Rental Fee and have no hidden fees such as an additional Service Charge.  If a couple utilizes our 12-hour rental fee, without adding any optional items, then the only additional cost is the 6.975% Sales Tax on the rental.

We have several “Optional Items” that you may choose to add to your rental for an additional cost.  The current list of these include a rehearsal, Farm tables (6 total), a linen loveseat, the option to rent our 6-person trail cart that will make accessing the property for pictures much easier and requesting up to 2 additional hours added to your 14-hour rental.

16. Do you have “cheaper” catering options?

Silver Oaks Chateau is proud to provide our families with the best in class experience. We are collectively evaluating these practices with our caterers and working with partners that share value in our these expectations for your experience.

At Silver Oaks, this means we require a catering team with adequate staffing to set up your event quickly and efficiently, help facilitate the transformation of the Ceremony as needed, do what is necessary to avoid long lines at the bar(s), provide timely dinner service, consistently available to clean any tables or used items left behind by guests so trash is not visible, and clean up at the end of your event. You’ll notice the caterer provides the linens for all tables as well as linen napkins, glassware, and china.
