Floorplan Assistance

We are happy to provide seating options for groups of up to 280 guests! Please review the below seating options to better understand what is available for your group. You will come up with an initial floorplan during your first bridal meeting (4-6 months out from your wedding date) But we hope this helps in the meantime!

A few helpful hints before we get started:

  • Round tables are 66 inch diameter and seat up to 10 guests

  • Long tables: we have 8 foot tables (seat 4 to a side + 1 on each end) 6 foot tables (seat 3 to a side + 1 on each end) available. You may also choose to rent farm tables (6 available, they are 6ft long and seat the same as a 6 foot table)

  • Most DJs need a 6 foot table

  • The stage is 25 ft wide x 15 ft deep. We try to mirror this size when allocating space for the dance floor, which is a good size for out capacity

  • The caterer, food type, guest count, etc all impact how many buffets you need. If you choose “stations” for your dinner service, then that will automatically remove at least 3 guest tables. If you are choosing family style or plated service, disregard the comments regarding buffet.

The Grand Hall Balcony:

The balcony can seat up to 60 guests (6 tables with 10 guests at each table) if you choose round tables. It can seat up to 80 guests (8 tables with 10 guests at each table) with long tables. Fitting 80 guests in the balcony is definitely the max but if you are in a pinch, this could be an option.

*If you are planning on filling the balcony with 6-8 tables and are providing a buffet, we’d highly suggest you work with the caterer on offering a 1/2 or mini buffet in the balcony or the upper foyer for those guests to easily access!

The Grand Hall Main Level:

If you have a band, it would make the most sense to set them up on the stage. This would move your head table or sweetheart table to the main level. If you have a DJ, he needs a 6 foot table and could be set up in several areas around the room. With the stage available, you could seat up to 20 people on the stage, if you curve it and have the bridal party sitting around the “C” shape. If you want the head table to be straight across the stage and not curve in, the most you can seat is 10 people.

In front of the tall windows, the most you can seat without looping anyone around tables is 18 people. If you loop bridal party members on both sides of the table (or if you are including dates on the other side of the table) you can seat up to 32 people without blocking the view of the bride and groom. You’ll notice that relocating the head table from the stage on to the main level removes 2 round gues tables.

Down the middle of the room, you can fit up to 26 at a “kings-style” table, with the bride and groom on the end and bridesmaids and groomsmen facing each other. A table of 20 would be more ideal if you need a large dance floor, but you can do up to 26 with a fourth table.

The buffet is commonly set up on the dance floor, and then broken down before toasts or first dances. *Please keep this in mind if you planned to have your first dance as soon as you are announced into the reception. If that is the case, you will need to relocate the buffet, see below.

If you are short on reception time, then you might consider moving your buffet to the back of the hall, between the lower foyer doors and patio doors. This would remove space for 2 guest tables, though it would allow to be able to continue on with toasts and/or first dances without waiting for a buffet to break down.

The corner of the Grand Hall between the stage and the bar is most commonly used for dessert to be displayed. We have added dimmable recessed lighting to that corner to ensure it is well lit for photos and can be easily seen by guests all night. We do also have a cake table on wheels that allows your cake to be displayed on the dance floor, or even the lower foyer wine cellar, before being cut up and laid at a table in this corner. *If you have a plated dinner then most of the time your cake will be plated and served to guests as well. Please confirm with your caterer.

If you want a photobooth in the Grand Hall, the corner by the back patio doors is a great, large, space to offer this. However, this does remove space for a guest table.

The MOST we can seat on the main level is shown in the image to the left. This floorplan uses 8ft long tables, 6ft long tables, and a couple of round tables to seat 200 guests on the main level, BEFORE adding how many would be seated at the head table on the stage (up to 20) This floorplan would assume that any dessert is served to each guests rather than stationary.

The MOST we can seat on the main level using only round tables for guests is shown in the image to the left. Round tables provide seating for up to 170 on the main level, BEFORE adding how many would be seated at the head table on the stage (up to 20) This floorplan would assume that any dessert is served to guests rather than stationary.
