Floor Plan Examples
At your first bridal meeting, we will sit down and create a personalized floor plan for your precise needs, but in the meantime you may find the below information helpful in your planning. We set up the Grand Hall using 3 of the most common head table locations to show how that might change the overall layout. The descriptions below are solely to help you visualize the space; please take into consideration the following information as well:
If you have a band, the best place for them to set up is on the stage. If you have a DJ, the DJ can be located either on the stage or to the right of the stage on the main floor, in front of the side Exit door.
A plated meal or family-style service should not affect the layout. If you have a large group and therefore two buffets, they can both be located on the dance floor to optimize the space for seating. The buffets would be broken down prior to your first dance. Stations are always a fun way to personalize your dining experience, but they do take up the most room of all the dining options. If you have stations, please plan for 3-4 less tables on the main floor, as that space would be needed for your stations.
The Grand Hall balcony can seat up to 70 max by using 7 diagonal 8-ft long tables and seating 10 at each. The most common balcony seating is up to 6 rounds with 10 at each. Most groups place at least 3 tables in the balcony to fill up the space and make the seating placement feel purposeful.
Please note the below plans are taking a “dessert corner”- a corner designated to your cake and/or dessert display-into consideration. If you need an additional round table on the main floor, consider upgrading your catering service to include cake that is served to each individual guest rather than laid out at one table.
Keep in mind that the floorplans below are meant to show the most we can seat using round tables as they are our most popular option. If you have a much smaller guest count, we can easily fill up the space by spacing tables out more. If you have any more, then we will need to utilize our 8 ft-long tables for your floorplan to be able to seat everyone.
Round tables seat up to 10 guests — 8-ft long tables seat 4 to a side + 1 seat on each end — 6-ft long tables and farm tables seat up to 3 + 1 seat on each end
Head Table - In Front of the Windows
the most popular
The most common head table location is probably in front of the 3 tall windows - such a focal point in the Grand Hall. In this scenario, the DJ or Band would be situated on the stage. Please note the maximum number of guests that can sit at the head table (without their backs facing the guests) is 16-18 depending how comfortable you’d like the seating.
This head table location allows for up to 16 round tables on the main floor for a total of 160 guests + the bridal party and those seated in the balcony.
Head Table - On the Stage
great for large groups
This option is great for those trying to save a little extra space! In this scenario, the DJ would be set up in the corner of the Grand Hall, to the right of the stage. We can seat up to 16-18 on the stage depending on how comfortable you’d like the seating. The first photo shoots how this would look; the tables would make a “U” shape and the bridal party would form around the tables. You could seat more by having bridal party members sitting with their backs facing the guests on the main floor.
Here, we can place up to 18 round tables on the main floor for a total of 180 guests + the bridal party and those seated in the balcony.
Head Table - Down the Center of the Room
something different
The head table located in the middle room would take place directly under the middle chandelier with the dancefloor and stage behind the bride and groom (sitting on the “end” of the long table)
We can place up to 17 round tables on the main floor for a total of 170 guests + the bridal party and those seated in the balcony.
