Bryan and Kelsey may be newlyweds, but that doesn't mean the first dates are over! We fell so in love with this couple, that we finally worked up the courage to ask them if they felt the same way about us. Luckily, this beautiful bride and groom said yes! Consider this our official DTR talk.
There are so many options when choosing a wedding venue! How did you decide on Silver Oaks Chateau?
You know that saying when you know, you know? I feel like that saying could have been the motto for the whole wedding process. With the guy, the venue, the dress, just everything. When I knew, I knew and there was no changing my mind. I remember pulling up to Silver Oaks Chateau for the first time, only a short week after being engaged, and being in complete awe. I think I can speak for both Bryan and myself when I say that we knew from the moment we stepped foot in Silver Oaks that this was the place we wanted to get married. From the beautiful reception hall, to the surrounding landscape and of course the gorgeous bride suite, we both couldn’t help but fall in love with Silver Oaks Chateau. It might sound corny, but I actually got the chills and cried happy tears when we booked the venue the very next day. I told you, when I know, I know!
Lots of couples say their wedding day goes by so quickly. Did you feel like you were able to relax and enjoy the big day?
Through out the whole planning process I had so many people tell me something will inevitably go wrong on the big day. I can honestly say everything went as smoothly as I had hoped, that is unless I just wasn’t told about it, which is very possible. From the moment we got into the bridal suite to walking down the hill to see Bryan for the first time to saying our I dos and celebrating at the reception, I was able to enjoy every aspect of our big day. There wasn’t one moment where I had to think about the vendors, the decorations or the details of the day. It was so nice to be able to soak up every moment of the whole day and truly be fully invested in Bryan and the loved ones who were helping us celebrate.
