April 13th Wedding

There's something about soft blues, grays, and pinks that add a touch of elegance to spring weddings. Travis and Michelle were simply stunning and had an effortless beauty about them on their big day earlier this year. Their classically gorgeous style was apparent not only in Michelle's gown, the floral arrangements and decor, but also in the ambiance of the night.

After their ceremony, they arrived to Silver Oaks in style--via a trolley! It was the neatest thing seeing a trolley pulling up to the Chateau while transporting their wedding party. From the arrival to the exit (and everything in between) everyone was all smiles all night.

Elopement Styled Shoot!

It only seems fitting that some of our very favorite photos of 2017 wouldn't be from a wedding at all - but from an elopement!

Our team has become a little obsessed (okay, a lot obsessed) with intimate ceremonies ever since we hosted our first elopement couple back in 2016. Now, after this picture-perfect styled shoot with The Lovely Lens, we are hopelessly head over heels! January 6th Wedding

This winter wedding was one for the books! Despite the cool temperatures outside, we couldn’t help but feel the warmth from the all of the love surrounding Rachel and Brian Williams on this perfect day.

They say a great wedding shows attention to detail and the newlyweds hit the nail on the head with the thought put into how everything looked and flowed throughout the day. Courtney Smith Photography captured these images which were made extra beautiful by Petal Pushers. We love seeing our space decked out like this!

November 5th Wedding

For all of those who dream of cozy candlelit dinners, romantic hues of deep crimson and blush, and crisp, colorful Fall afternoons - this blog post is for you.

Katie and Tyler not only had a wedding worthy of the St. Louis Weddings Hall of Fame (can we start this please?!), but these two newlyweds were oh-so easy to love. Not to mention, they hired an all- star team of vendors including planning by A Bride's Ally and photography from The Rowlands.

October 29th Wedding

Perks to being a part of Alyssa and Mallory's wedding day:

1. These two were so sweet and easy-going. Their smiles and joy were totally infectious from start to finish!

2. Mallory's sister is a pumpkin farmer (which has to be in the running for the coolest job ever) so there were pumpkins galore. Like, everywhere. It was every girl's dream!

3. Each little detail was thoughtful and beautiful - from handkerchiefs for the guest's happy tears to sequined gowns for the bridesmaids, this day was made to be oohed and ahhed over. And there were pumpkins. Did we mention we loved the pumpkins?

October 13th Wedding

For all of us who struggle with agonizing over decisions : healthy salad or cheesy fries? cute sundress or jeans and a t-shirt? venti sugar-free vanilla latte or herbal tea?

Let's take a moment to appreciate the wonder that is deciding...to not decide! When gorgeous bride-to-be (and bridal shop owner) Samantha choose two unbelievable gowns for her October wedding, we knew it was a blog post just waiting to happen.

From the most amazing Fall inspired florals to an adorable pup on the front steps, our team couldn't help but feel unbelievably lucky to be a part of this Friday the 13th celebration!

September 24th Wedding

Kelly and Steven were such a stunning bride and groom pair. Their big day included a Tea Ceremony along with a wedding ceremony and lively reception.

These two wanted to bring both families together as one...and they did just that! During this late September celebration, you could just feel the love filling up the Chateau and radiating between the families. Kelly was beaming in both of her gowns - a stunning red dress and a gorgeous white dress.

August 6th Brunch Wedding

It didn't take long for us to be totally smitten with Adam and Erin. 

These two, and their breath-taking August wedding, are just another reason why we love the Sunday Brunch package so much. After a 10:30am ceremony, guests enjoyed made-to-order omelets, mimosas, and more thanks to the brunch aficionados at Sugarfire Smokehouse. 

With simple and oh-so-elegant florals by Always in Bloom, and some of our favorite photos of the season by Cindy Lee Photography, this wedding was worthy of one of our longest blog posts yet.

Parisian Goodness Styled Shoot!

Who doesn't love making new friends?

When we brought 23 City Blocks on to the Silver Oaks Chateau catering team at the end of 2016, we knew that was exactly what was happening. These new kids on the block have already done two incredible events at Silver Oaks and we've been dying to share the photos with YOU!

Heather Roth Photography beautifully captured both evenings: a corporate wine tasting in October and a Paris themed tasting this Spring. Fellow wedding vendor extraordinaire Festive Couture Floral worked with 23 City Blocks to bring life and color to the Silver Oaks patio through show-stopping floral designs.
